Colson Kelly, a.k.a by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born into his English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A., on April 22 the 22nd of April, 1991. His parents were missionaries. As a child the Bakers traveled extensively together. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness and his mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker's father moved with his son to Denver and the family lived at the uncle of his father. Baker was bullied because he lived in poverty among the kids. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker was able to study the art of rap. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas in the U.S. His compositions are known to blend contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative rock. Baker has released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. This Cleveland rapper who raps lyrics as fast as bullets, saw an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, after he shifted from self-publishing mixtapes to working with respected labels. The career of the rapper took off from there, with all of his releases making it to the top ten charts.
